bloodstains on my brains like old flames
in desparate times
gettin by
can be so strange
past-lifes fog my glasses all the time
again and again
i rub em clean
and wipe my eyes
so i can see clear
it's old news i get the blues when i'm close to you
when you're on my mind
gettin by
can be so hard to do
the old me like a dusty breeze blurs what i'm trynta see
i just hold my breath
til he blows on past
and i wipe my eyes clean
so i can see clear
when i'm walkin down the backstreets of my mind
i don't know what i'll find
i don't know what i'll find
i never look through the same set of eyes twice
i'm changin all the time
i'm changin all the time
it's hard to see who's who and what's what
and that's the trouble with growin' up
the futures lie like lines outstretched out from my shoes
i don't know which to choose
i don't know which to choose
i see where they start but they fade into the blue
i don't know what to do
i don't know what to do
it's hard to see where's where and what's what
and that's the trouble with growin' up

Don't be fooled by the iridescent sheen of this glitchy electro-pop artist from London; her music has a tender heart. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2021

What a great album. It took me a while to really get the whole album but I can confidently say it's one of her best. The shorter songs are certainly a different feel, but I still like it. I could pick like five different songs as my favorite and all of them would feel right lol praisedrays
